Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
